An history made of values, friendship, fortune. And the desire to make a simple but quality product

La Quercia winery is run by four friends who at the end of the eighties coincidentally became work colleagues. In fact, Elisabetta Di Berardino, administrative manager, began working at a winery and consulting company, where she had already worked for some years the oenologist Antonio Lamona and the sales manager Luca Moretti and where even the wine technician Fabio Pedicone worked for a few years. Together they have worked until 2000 when they decided to take over La Quercia, with which they had already collaborated as consultants.
La Quercia is a small winery that covers about 46.50 hectares of vineyards and about 5 hectares of olive grove with an adjoining wine shop of about 400 square meters with a production capacity of about 4000 hl of wine. The company’s activity is based on respect for nature as it is convinced that this is fundamental to obtain a good product and to respect human and fauna health. During processing, the product is treated as little as possible so that the reflection of the land of origin and its typical characteristics can be found in the glass. At the basis of the processing there is the quality and typicality of the product that allows the identification of the wine and the land of origin.

La Quercia, with significant sacrifices, has successfully entered the market full of fierce competitors. The first awards at Vinitaly, the presence in the most important guides, their labels in the best wine bars and shops in Italy… then around 2005 their wines arrived in United States of America, Central and Northern Europe, Japan, China. After that a very ambitious project with a restaurant chain of La Quercia and finally the new arrival… Canada.

In recent years, with the rationalization of the organization and thanks to continuous product research, it has managed to reach excellent levels in satisfying the needs of consumers and above all while retaining its characteristic of a marketing oriented company, it has been able to stimulate new needs and satisfy them. The continuous research concerns the product, the image and the packaging as part of a total quality system.

The characteristics of the product and the news related to it are indicated with the utmost transparency to provide the customer with all the information necessary for a conscious and participatory choice.

In a few years the dream has become a reality, today the wines of “La Quercia” are getting more and more acclaim both in the national and international market. The partners, all with over ten years of experience in their respective duties, Fabio Pedicone “Winemaker”, Elisabetta Di Berardino “Administrator”, Antonio Lamona “Oenologist” and Luca Moretti “sales manager”, work every day to reach ever higher quality levels, in the continuous search for those minimal nuances that allow us to progress in an increasingly fascinating and stimulating path. The limited production enables us to always maintain the high-quality standard that has allowed us to obtain important awards.
